The Chapter will select few of the submitted papers. These will be published in the On target 2010 Souvenir. There are  total prizes worth Rs 22500 for industry and academic papers sponsored by The Digital Group Papers should be submitted as a PDF file or word attachment by email to ontarget@pmipunechapter.org by 25th January 2010. Include "PMI PAPER COMPETITION-( track name) " on the subject line of the email . The paper should include the following: the title of the paper, name and institutional affiliation of author(s) and their disciplines on the title page as well as a one-page abstract. ·         The font used should be Arial and font size should be 11 pts ·         The text should not be less than 5000 words but must not exceed 8000 words. ·         Papers entered should cover technical, engineering, management, or societal aspects of subjects from project management perspective. ·         Only English language papers will be considered in the competition. ·         E-mail submissions should also include a PDF or word file attachment of the lead author's curriculum vitae. Submissions should represent original work. The Chapter will acknowledge receipt of all submissions by email. Notification of selected papers will be made by Last week of January 2010. The professional competition is open to all. Student paper competition is open to full time students only from MBA Schools & Engineering Students / PG Students from MCS / MSC / MCA The chapter will evaluate the submitted papers based on how effectively they address one or any combination of the following questions : ·         What are the key challenges and opportunities That are being addressed. ·         What best practices are readily available and have been adapted? How effective are the initiatives and what impacts are they having? How are their effects and impacts being measured? ·         What is the author’s vision? How does the proposed approach achieve the vision? ·         What are the best ways to facilitate the exchange of information and practices in a manner that is mutually beneficial to all stakeholders? ·         What are the obstacles to translating international initiatives and targets into local or regional actions and how can they be overcome?

Entrance Fee:

·         Student teams: Rs.250/- per team    (Team comprises of 4 members)

·         Corporate teams: Rs.1000/- per team

Note: Quiz will be organized separately at Shramik Patrakar Bhavan on a specified date, prior to above events. The best team will be given trophy in respective events.
